Lisa de Nikolits was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she lived until 1998. An art director by trade for over twenty years, she also lived and worked in Australia, UK, the USA and of course, Canada. She is a Canadian citizen who plans (as much as one can plan these things) to stay in Canada the rest of her life. She lives in The Beach in Toronto with a lovely man and two cats and is extremely fond of all things Canadian. |

George Norrie
George Norrie is the co-author and collator of information of From Cloddy Earth to Glittering Gold, the biography of his father, mining legend J. P. Norrie. He was born to the north, but was only five when his father died and the family returned to Nova Scotia. George lives in Truro, Nova Scotia, on the old family homestead. |

Daniel Paradis
Born on September 7, 1950, Daniel obtained a Licence in Translation at the Université Laval, in Québec City, in 1973, and from then on, has been a translator (from English to French) first for the Canadian government (until 1987) and afterwards as a free-lancer. He is also an author, having written two books: Le feu sur la lune (et autres histoires), and a novel entitled Le roi des pissenlits, both published by Le Nordir.
