Strange lights at midnight

Angela, the young protagonist, who takes her sheep to a Passamaquoddy Bay island where they are pastured from spring until fall, stumbles on a number of puzzling circumstances which cause her to wonder who else has been visiting Sheep Island - and why.

Sometimes alone, sometimes with her cousin Jim and eventually with her dear friend Baxter and his best friend Mac, Angela becomes involved in a series of exciting and by times life-threatening adventures which unravel quite remarkably.

Although the characters and plot are fictitious, the story's historical background is accurate, much of it gleaned during Allison Mitcham's reserach for her 3 best-selling island books and biography, Three Remarkable Maritimers.
