Joanne Aber

Joanne Aber, Ph.D., author and photo artist has been working with sunrises and sunsets, waterscapes and florals for over twenty years. She has taught "Good Photography with a Cheap Camera" for those who want better results with their photography regardless of the camera they use.

Dr. Aber says, "It is in the 'seeing', the composition of the shot. God creates the scene, I have the honor of pointing and shooting it."

She began her photo art career when she wanted to take her favorite sunrises and sunsets, waterscapes and florals from her hometown of Derby, New York with her to her homes in Arkansas, Louisiana, Kansas, Pennsylvania, and the Republic of Panama. She has also taken photos of her favorite sites and plant life from her world travels that include Canada, Puerto Rico, Thailand and the US Virgin Islands; and the states of California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas and all points in between.
