They can rob you blind -- and it's legal: from TorontoSun.com

Tony Crawford, author of The Perfect Sting and Identity Theft Protection, has recently entered the political arena as a result of his experiences with identity theft. He was a delegate from the Oakville (ON) riding at the recent NDP Convention in Toronto.

In a letter to Mr. Howard Hampton, Tony stated, “As a representative and delegate of the Oakville Riding – which according to the insurance industry has 15% per capita occurrence of fraud – we wanted to focus on ‘Identity Theft’ resolutions. While these were neither heard in the Federal, nor the Provincial convention proceedings – our table attracted considerable attention and we garnered 431 signatures – with many more to come – in support of an investigation.”

Tony’s story has been covered in an article in the Toronto Sun.
