Brenda has a private practice specializing in behavioural disorders and she does consulting and training on this topic worldwide. She has written three other books – two non–fiction "Managing Children with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome/Effects", "Parenting Your Older Adopted Child" and one fiction "Eden’s Secret Journal – The Story of An Older Child Adoption" She lives in Nanaimo BC and is the mother of 14 children.
