Ever look at that plastic milk jug on the counter and envision it filled with flowers? Or hanging from a tree, filled with birdseed? And what about those old ice skates? Ever wonder how you could turn them from trash into treasure? Jennifer Roos knows how you feel. Everywhere she looks, she sees potential crafts: that empty milk jug, those old skates, those plain white coffee mugs bought at a rummage sale. All it takes, she says, is a little skill, some patience, and some ideas.

Over 8 years, Jennifer put her ideas on paper, writing a regular craft column for the Telegraph-Journal. Using easy-to-find supplies--everything from pine cones to pipe cleaners--she creates decorations for your door, jazzes up your jeans, and puts posies in your pony-tail.

Jennifer has crafts for every season and every occasion, whether you're looking for a hostess gift for that party you've just been invited to, something for the kids to make at your child's birthday party, or just something to make your picnic table more inviting. You don't have to be a crafting whiz to make them, either.

Simply Seasonal will be a mainstay of your bookshelf.
