Rose Finnigan Born and raised in Northern Ontario, Rose developed a love of nature by wandering over its rugged landscape. Extensive travel reinforced this love.The influence of an English foster mother, who entertained her with Grimm’s Fairy Tales and Nursery Rhymes, developed her love of the written word. An educator for a number of years, Rose obtained a B. A. from the University of Western Ontario and a Teaching Degree from the University of Toronto. She also acquired a Diplome from the Sorbonne in Paris, France, and a M. of Sc. from Niagara University in Lewiston, New York.
