Eric Young developed a passion for music in his early years. His first attempt at a music career ended in 1996, when financial hardship forced him to leave the business and join the trucking industry. A tragic accident in 2004 forced him to reconsider his life once again. “I played music as therapy and started writing again,” he says of that time. He has recorded two albums so far, and he tours Nova Scotia as much as he can. “Performing helps cement what I’m doing,” he says. “It gives me inspiration for new material and allows me to test songs for audience reaction.” Of his song writing, Eric likes to use the term "audio paintbrushes."
