I have lived in Canada for more than 4 years now. I love travelling, cartoons, music, movies, cooking and yoga. Since coming to Canada, I have travelled around the East and West Coasts, and I had a wonderful trip to Disney World, the wonderland I had been dreaming of since the first time I saw Donald Duck, when I was 4 years old. Last June, I went to Austria for a two–week culinary trip. I believe the further you go, the more you can learn and the more you will love life.
After three months studying English in Vancouver, I flew to Saint John, NB and started my university life at UNBSJ. My major is Business Applied Management in Hospitality and Tourism. I spent my third year in St. Andrews–by–the–Sea at the New Brunswick Community College and got my first job as a baker at a restaurant in the summer. In May, I graduated and decided to take the Pastry Arts course at Holland College on Prince Edward Island this September. I’m quite excited about it, but feel sad about leaving at the same time.
Cooking is absolutely an art and I can relate it to painting. You can see, touch, smell, and taste these art works. Wherever I go, I bring my painting books and pens. Cartooning is the best way for me to express my thoughts and feelings. I’ll keep going and working hard on it as time passes. My ideas come from life; I just collect the sources and add some spices to express myself.
